Description
striking set of three antique Italian mythological engravings, each finely detailed and professionally framed. Depicting classical figures from ancient mythology, the set includes:
Venere (Venus) – The Roman goddess of love and beauty
Ganimede (Ganymede) – A divine hero and cupbearer to the gods
Minerva Pacifera (Minerva the Peacemaker) – Goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare
Each engraving is masterfully executed, showcasing refined linework and shading, typical of neoclassical studies from the 18th century. The artworks are beautifully presented in coordinating frames featuring a rich burlwood-style finish with black and gold trim, enhancing their time elegance.
